I started with basic bed-slingers, they work fine. Slowly building a couple DIY machines, v2/K3. Are there any prusa/bambu users here?

I'm new to the sport and the K1 Max is making me look like I know what I'm doing.
sojournone I've been using Prusa MK3's for a few years now with good results. Other then the high cost, they are great printers. The slicer integration is the best out there. Looking at getting a Prusa XL, but don't have much space in the shop for it!
I have a X1C and a A1. Both replaced 5 verious ender 3 (5 different versions) first thing i printed on the X1C was a Orca.
Currently the Prusa XL with a dual toolhead. I was honestly a bit skeptical based on the initial reviews of it, but it's been really impressive. Tool changers will spoil your quick!
Yukon Your success with the machine is what has me on the edge of buying one. True multifilament printing would be pretty cool!
sojournone I have an ender 3 and voron 2.4 and a Bambu x1c. I only use the x1c
JojoTheDancingBear X1C here with AMS, although I rarely use the AMS..too much waste and time.
After getting the Bambu, I see many more in the future, replacing the Enders and the Anker Make....it just works.
TraderBob My P1P has performed great as well. And when it comes to the AMS, I agree. The inability to print brittle fiber filled filaments or TPU rule out most of the multi material prints I'd like to make. Multicolor PLA prints are not that practical.
I run a pair of K1C's before changing to them I ran FLSUN delta's. I get much better quality, speed, and ease of printing out of the K1C's. I'm a huge fan.
hoffmantactical I run nylon CF in the ams no problem.
I've got a Qidi XPlus-3 and it's been great. For the money, I think it's one of the best options available.
JamesHuffman Interesting! I know that they say not to use their PET-CF, which is what I had in mind.
I’ve got a Voron Trident and a Ender 3 Pro, the Trident has been a blast to build and setup. My current project is setting up an ERCF (open source AMS)
hoffmantactical it gives you a warning but I have never been one to just let someone else tell me something won't work.
Personally I like the Prusa lineup. I have helped my friends tune their Creality printers and while you can get fantastic quality from them it takes a lot to tune them. The Bambu printers I've used seem ok, but you can get better quality with fine tuning and open printer in my opinion.
point_dude I like Prusa because of the slicer and how well it integrates with their machines. Bambu added issues when they remixed it.
I use my Ender 3 for PLA only, and my Ender 3 S1 for everything else. I'm a tinkerer and a learner so maybe other printers are better but I'm happy with them. I design and print a ton of stuff with them. Only real mods are a CR Touch for the Ender 3, all metal hot end plus abrasive nozzle for the S1, and custom tweaked marlin firmware for both.
Hoffman got me to switch from Cura to PrusaSlicer while doing the SL9 and I've never gone back. I'm still using Fusion though. I'm too cheap to buy expensive CAD software and I haven't been successful so far switching to Solid Edge. I'm just too comfortable and experienced with Fusion. I hate that it's cloud based though.
JamesHuffman How's the voron like?
hoffmantactical Awesome! Would love to show it to you sometime soon. Most examples online with the XL have been for aesthetics and not for function. I'll post updates here as I do more testing for functional parts (Which is of my focus) . So far it's been great, and I've been discovering some interesting phenomenons and applications.
