I think if you could try and run both side by side and say the dlc will last x amount longer than uncoated it would be enough to get people to pay an extra ten bucks or so
My question is would the DLC cause more wear in the other components like the detent or the contact point in the trigger?
I like the idea of a full DLC package. Trigger, cam,lever, and detent
Without some sort of comparison the DLC is more an aesthetic option, imo. I don’t know enough about DLC to say if it would improve the wear characteristics on parts that are constantly rubbing.
