2 rounds then dead trigger.

I am having issues with a DNT super safety. It fires 2 rounds then it has a dead trigger. I have tried and H2 and H3 buffer, no change. The trigger is a precut one. I had to shave the shelf and I cut the lip on the upper. What things should I look at beyond that?

PhysicsNurd What lower did you have to cut the shelf on?
What barrel length are you using?
What angle does the rearward travel of the lever reset the trigger it should be near vertical (when you feel it push your finger forward).

Also you did not have to cut the lip on the upper, if you were experiencing bolt bind I recommend filing the surface of the lever that contacts the BCG. The amount needed is usually less than a hairs width see highlighted surface in green below. Function checking between filing passes, then polishing when complete.

Delton lower (i know, not actually my gun) 16in barrel, unsupressed. As I said ive tried H2 and H3. I will check the angle when I have a chance. I wasn't aware you could file the lever to fix bind, it was binding and the forst solution i found was removing the lip and that solved that. It is a D2 lever, so not super easy to file.

PhysicsNurd Haha I'm not aware of Delton, but in regards to the hard D2 material, you do not need to remove much material and since you already resolved the binding no need to do it.
