Super safety problems

hoffmantactical yes the hammer is in the fallen position so that seems to be the case. But it shoots just fine in semi-auto mode, it seems to only do the hammer follow in super safe mode. What would be a fix for this?

You have to slowly go over the entire cycle and find why the trigger is unlocking too soon. Could be an over ground trigger tail, or a loose lever.

I just installed a new precut trigger, cam, and lever and have the same issue. Semi auto is fine. If the hammer is being released too soon, should the lever “tail” (part that touches the bolt) be shaved to help delay rotation of the cam and not release the hammer early?

Do you guys recommend a specific spring and buffer weight as well? Im running stock spring and a slightly heavier buffer weight.

Buffer weight should have little effect.

I’m having the same issues, it functions fine in semi, and when I do a function check in as it works but when cycling fast the hammer falls as the bolt is moving forward and will not fire a second round. Because the hammer is already forward.

Karbeezy I'm getting that same issue with my AR 22 with cmmg conversion with a SS. It only shoots one round then it loads the next round with a dead hammer

I have one issue. I got the proper buffer weight and cycles fine. my issue may also just be a strip it apart and put it back together bc i may have miss placed a spring properly but when i fire in semi auto, after each round the trigger doesnt fully reset. By that i mean in order for me to shoot another round i have to, ever so slightly nudge the trigger forward and then hear a click and the trigger is no longer stuck and is reset. Still learning and first build so just wondering if i missed something or if it is something else. Thanks

t2j2r is your disconnector spring upside down? Thick part goes on the bottom. First thing I would do is double check all your springs are the right way around.

-MurphyToadster200x If your setup loads the next round, but the hammer is fallen early. That would lead me to believe that your trigger is overcut/overrounded. I would recommend cutting a new trigger that has more material on it.

undeadchew cool I'll look into that. Honestly that same super safety that's giving me trouble when I use it on my 5.56 it'll function in super safe mode but the cycle rate was embarrassingly slow so I wonder if maybe my trigger is cut too much
