I am an engineer and design and build prototypes and repair items. I found that HT uses Bambu Labs PET-CF for the most demanding parts. I have not used PET-CF. I looked at BL and found this costs about $86/Kg and I found 'VOXELAB carbon filament PETG' at Amazon for ~$25/Kg, so less than 1/3 the cost. It fits my Bambu Labs AMS, but due to wear issues on the plastic gears in the AMS, I will probably use external dry box for all CF filaments. It comes in a lot of colors but I think the natural black color may be stronger than the other colors, so I bought a black and two other dark colors. But how good is this filament? it needs testing. I will do my tests for my purposes, but I have not printed any gun parts, so maybe those that do should do the testing. The cost of testing is $25 plus precious time. I would be very interested in what others have found with this filament.
Best wishes, Doug
