SP5 Super Safety

I just picked up an SP5, and I want to get it working with the Super Safety. I've got a steel SS and slip trip from SkoPrints, and I'm waiting on a SkoPrints AR lower with all the hardware (including precut trigger, rounded detent, buffer). I also printed my own SS and slip trip from PLA in case either in steel ends up being too heavy.

I've also got a Lee Sporting Lower on order, and I opted for the geissele SD3G trigger.

I don't often get access to a range where I can fire at the rate the SS will allow, so I want to do everything I can in advance to increase my chance of success, before I get a chance to try it out.

With all that in mind, some questions:

Will the Geissele SD3G trigger work with the SS (if properly cut)?
To what extent can I verify things are working properly without firing (before I get to the range)?
Any tips, especially when working with the SP5 or the Lee Sporting Lower?
Is this forum the best place to get help with the Super Safety?

The trigger should function, though it won't have any advantage over a mil-spec trigger in active mode (obviously it will be nicer in passive reset mode).
