MrSteve If I want to maybe get this machined, should I try and combine the lever and cam or keep them separate?
BattlePro cartman1000 @cartman1000 3d printed on a specialty machine in 316 stainless steel. I would be willing to sell the jig and detent with the free bonus. working on trying die steels too. probably do the jig in nylon and the rounded detent like $60 to 65ish and you will get 2 free stainless pieces to go with them
Cadcamman I'm in the process of machining the cam as it is the most complex of the 2 parts . I have it programmed and ready to run on a 4th axis milling machine I just need some pointers on what tool to use for the slot the lever slides in as it is not a standard shape . I could grind a tool to fit the shape but I was hoping someone has already been down this road ??
BattlePro have a batch of 316l stainless safeties that are are a blem. the cam is ever so slightly larger on one side so it wont slide all the way through the housing. will need some sanding elbow grease but its only about 1/4" of it. the levers are all good to go. would sell these to move them with a detent for $30 each. I have about 10 total.
BattlePro thanks for the orders guys! I am down to a couple blem units left, a couple complete stainless kits, and i just finished some new die steel kits!
BattlePro was thinking about making these in titanium next. would anyone be interested in that or just stick to the stainless and die steel?
