Are there any 3D print test jig models available for informal strength testing using a bathroom scale? I can imagine how several orientations of stress could be applied to a test sample or samples via an apparatus (perhaps even at least partially integrated and printed with the test sample) to be used with a bathroom scale. The bathroom scale would provide a quantitative result to aid in comparative destructive testing of 3D printed test samples.
I'm sure "fish scales" have been put to good ends too, but larger loads might be applied with a bathroom scale readout or the types of loads easily attainable might prove to be very complementary with fish scale testing.
