As title states I recently built a 556, and have marking around the sides of the mass. I don’t think the buffer detent is causing it, and it doesn’t really look damaged. I’m more so thinking that the bcg might have a slight burr on it or something along those lines. It has stood up to around 30 or so rounds so far though
Was mostly looking for suggestions, or ideas. I got in a group with optimal a bit back for some help on one of his Taurus frames, and posted it in that group, but it was rather inconclusive.
Curious if it is just a bca thing, I ordered the lpk, and buffer assembly from them for the first build. I had to file down the hammer, and sear slightly to get the trigger to work, when I first put it in it was dead
