Hey guys I finally got a successful print, although I have an issue where all the significant overhangs look terrible. Any advice?

Those actually don't look bad! Reducing the Z gap somewhat could help smooth them out, but you risk greater support adhesion. Try a test.

hoffmantactical yeah its already quite difficult to remove. Ill try more and less and see what's better.

What kind of printer and filament are you using? If possible, using a different filament for the support interface layer will help a lot. For example, if you’re printing in PLA, you could use either PETG or one of the specialized support filaments like Bambu makes. I’m partial to this one: https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/support-for-pla-petg

Of course some printers don’t really let you do the filament changes necessary for this.

PPA_FTW yeah I have an sv06 ace so no filament changes for me. I think my biggest problem is the Z gap is wayyy too big and I had the first layers droop a ton and either are completely disconnected from the rest of the print or just kinda strange looking. I’ll fix the Z gap and try again.
