I’m hoping someone can speak to the longterm stability of PA612CF15 now the Hoffman video has been out for a bit. I’ve been using this material with excellent results but today printed a large batch of parts that all came out with a moderate amount of malleability. I can bend them by hand and they don’t fully rebound, ie they hold the new shape. They have a MUCH lower stiffness than my other previously printed components. I printed this Polymaker spool direct from the sealed bag out of a dryer box opposed to my usual approach of drying for 12 hours before printing from a dryer box. I’m hoping this is only an issue because the filament wasn’t dry enough. However, I’m concerned about whether some of my older components (3-6 weeks) may begin to exhibit these characteristics down the road. None of these components have been annealed.
What is your experience with the longterm dimensional stability and stiffness of PA612CF15. I’d really appreciate any insight.
