BCG gets stuck 3/4 of the way back

Does anyone have a fix for the BCG not cycling all the way to the rear in SS mode? I shaved the upper shelf down to make space for the lever to slide back fully and it cycles perfectly in the semi position, but when I put it in the SS position, the bolt gets stuck about 3/4 of the way back and I can clearly see the lever is not making its full rotation. I’ve also sanded some material off the top of the lever and it still won’t function in SS mode. All insight and feedback will help, Thanks.

Chelseamelman Is this a 556 build?
Can we get a picture of where it gets stuck if possible?

Also is the green surface where you removed material from?

Hello, new here.Not sure if this is the place to post this or not. I'm having an issue that I find very strange. First of all function check with the upper off everything works fine, with the upper on the BCG gets stuck about 1 inch from full back. I did polish off the top of the leaver, some help, but not resolved. Now the really strange part when I put the upper on I did not push the take down all the way through, and the BCG cycled just fine. It is through just enough to enter the left wall, but any farther and it hangs up. Any ideas? :

TheOldGuy Yes I don't just polish the highlighted surface in green but take a file to it to remove the smallest amount of material, like you said if you don't lock the rear takedown pin in, it cycles so it's very close to working just needs a little bit more.

TheOldGuy I'll use a very light sanding drum on a Dremel on low speed, and check often
