undeadchew New development here. Before obtaining an H1 I decided to weigh the buffer that was sold to me as an H3. It's 3 ounces making it a standard weight buffer. Even lighter than an H1. I'm curious if you still think bolt bounce could be the culprit given that I'm actually running a lighter buffer than we thought? Maybe try an adjustable weight buffer like Odin Works Adjustable?

AntiAnti2A Does it have dampening weights inside it? You will hear them inside if you shake the buffer.
Also you can modify the existing buffer by removing the roll pin and rubber stopper, then change out the weights inside.

undeadchew It does have dampening weights. I'll play around with that. Any recommendations on what I can use if I want to add additional weight?

AntiAnti2A I just bought a bunch of empty buffers with the intention of adding tungsten shot inside for a deadblow effect.

undeadchew I'm going to gradually add weight to my buffer and test at each increment. If I hit a sweet spot I'll report back. Hopefully with a solution. Thanks again for staying tuned.

undeadchew Solved! I pulled the buffer out of my Stag. It is 3 grams heaver than what I was initially running. It's 3 ounces. Still very light but that's all it took. Runs like a champ. Hard to believe 3 grams could make the difference. Thanks for all your help!
