mckl I have a CNC lathe with live tooling horizontal and vertical, and various other machines so im more than capable machine wise. The one thing i could see being a big problem would be the way the lever attaches, which I could easily redesign. I figure a ball mill would be able to cut the indentations but im not sure. Ive never been on this forum and only heard of people making them with additive machines so im mostly just wondering if its been done before.
hoffmantactical I know of a couple methods to cut the dovetail slot. One is to mod the design (lever has to change too), and then use two drilled holes to form the sides, and a mill pass to cut the center. The other method is to use a custom cutter.
