Ok I have a Heat clone 11.5 A1 upper. Carbine gas length. And I also have a colt A1 9mm clone carbine length triangle handguard 10.5"
The 9mm Colt clone's rate of fire is awesome approaching mac11 speeds and doesn't seem to change whether using a carbine buff or next size up.
The 11.5 5.56 Heat clone rate of fire was embarrassingly slow, slower than AK ROF but tad higher ROF than the WW2 grease gun. It's using an H2 buffer. My old setup before SS, with my geiselle SD3G with the H2 I can bumpfire faster than a some M16's.
Why is this 11.5 not running fast? Should I go down on the buffer weight?
I think I might have figured it out but the slow guns recoil spring was a smidge harder and had 38 coils, the fast gun was looser and had only 31 coils
