I know there is a thread for HT-PLA but I thought I would also make a post for HT-PLA-GF by Polymaker. So you get all the goodness of a much higher temp deflection, and the toughness of glass filled? Though, it worries me they didn't label it as PLA plus or PLA pro, and I am wondering, for someone interested in printing their carry at the 12:30 appendix position, if this would be a good option vs PA6-GL25 (what I was intending on using for my 'final' dd19.2), being easier to print, and also potentially faster to print, what do we already know about glass filled PLA? Is this potentially a winner for leaving in hot cars, pointed at hot crouches (body temp being 98F), etc? Originally I was going to use ASA. But it requires me to bring the printer I have to the max, custom venting, and a lot of prep. HT-PLA-GF I am thinking might be the gap between HT-PLA and PLA +/pro.
I am mainly interested in gen 3 clone and DD results but any info or experience with this filament would be great, seeing the price and availability are scarce and limited.
Also, my first post here, long time lurk. Hi all.
