n3wtpond Been running the SS for a few weeks, took a lot of troubleshooting with buffer weights / springs to get right. Latest trip to the range found that SS mode runs flawlessly, but when going back into semi mode the trigger doesn't "force reset". I have to manually push the trigger forward before pulling it again. Any ideas on what may be the issue? TIA
undeadchew n3wtpond How about the trigger function without the SS, one quick thing you could check before we go deeper is your trigger and hammer springs installed the right way?
n3wtpond undeadchew So earlier i completely disassembled and reassembled thee entire trigger system just to be sure. I thought maybe the spring that pushes up against the Disconnector was out of whack but everything seems to be fine there. Still same issue on semi-mode though
patriotpa Since you're manually pulling the trigger forward, something is binding or something's not right with your trigger spring. I'd bet on binding. Try with the stock safety installed and see if it functions correctly, like undeadchew said.
n3wtpond patriotpa Okay thankyou, I'll give it a go later and hopefully figure it out. It's just strange because in SS mode it work perfectly, but in semi it's binding up. I'll let you guys know if the original trigger functions properly.
undeadchew n3wtpond Also the only time I've ever experienced something like this is with my own 3d printed lower pinching the trigger causing friction. You are using a factory lower right?
n3wtpond undeadchew Yes just a standard PSA cheap lower / upper. Stainless Steel SS. It ran fine for a few mags then this new problem started when in semi mode
