Updates on SL-9 V2.8

plrrr

Hey Tim,
We spoke via email a year ago. Just wanted to give an update on my experience with the SL-9.

  • First off, 95A+ TPU should be the default recommended filament for the ejector.
  • In addition, you cautioned me against using PolyMaker PolyMax PC for the LRBHO components. You were absolutely correct, after a year the components have split and need to be reprinted. I fully agree with your assessment on PC usability within the 3D2A space.

plrrr Great feedback on the PC filament. This has been my consistent experience. I have found lower fiber content PET-CF to be a great alternative for small parts that can't have any creep. I have some 95A on hand and might give it a try, though the Polymaker CoPa has been fantastic as well.
