I’m trying to take the safety out of my SL-15 lower to install a super safety but I can’t get the detent pin out.
I have the set screw and spring pulled out but the detent is stuck. The safety still move and function but I can’t get it out to replace due to the detent stuck. I used a bit to ream put the hole before install and the detent fell in there no problem without force so I’m not sure why it’s stuck.
I’ve squirted CLP into the hole and let it soak then banged it Aton to try to get it to fall out but no luck.
Anyone deal with this issue before?
