Good afternoon!
I'm running a 16" 5.56 barrel, mid length gas system, with a Armaspec SRS H2 Gen 4 buffer system.
I got a SS kit from a local gun show. Installed it and it functions fine on my lower while testing it by hand. I put my upper on and everything functions normally as well in semi and SS mode. I took it to live fire and semi worked perfectly but SS mode gave one shot and then a dead trigger over a live round. My gas block is adjustable but it was carbon locked at the range (fixed now lol) and I'm not sure what position it was in. So here are my main questions.
- Would turning up the gas help at all?
- Should I try putting in my standard carbine buffer/spring?
- Or order a heavier traditional buffer/spring system?
I was told by the people I bought the kit from that they recommend H3 buffers or something like that so I'm not sure where to go here with my gas system (or if it matters lol) and I'm a bit lost in the sauce on this one.
