Multicolor printing

Has anyone printed an Orca or anything else in multicolor? I'd like to figure out how to paint a camo pattern in the slicer but I may do something like this with black, tan, brown, and green.

I've been playing with the painting in the slicer and came up with this. The colors aren't really a match but here is the beginning of a 2 1/2 day print for the upper.

Problem is with the way the slicer breaks up the part into bodies, the strength is compromised.

Not sure what you mean by splitting into bodies, it's still 1 part? Assuming the pause between colors on the same layer is the issue? On the finished product, there are lines between the colors which makes me wonder how they'll hold up. I'm going to test it on a 22LR build.

The lines between the colors is what I am referring too. Basically degrades the max part strength on that axis from the material strength to the line to line adhesion, which can be a big step down. The slicer basically breaks the main part up into separate bodies which are printed adjacent to each other. forming these lines, or seams.
