ACWick Sorry for another question. Does anyone know or have a source for print files for front/rear take down pins? I couldn't find anything on Yeggi that looked appropriate. I need to print a rear pin at 100.02-100.05% (I'm guessing) as the standard pin is slightly too small to stay in place while firing (due to overly aggressive cleaning of the rear pin hole).
hoffmantactical Not that I know of (I've never designed that part). Does the detent pin not retain the take down pin?
ACWick Thanks for the reply- the take down pin is retained by the detente pin but there's too little resistance so the take down pin wants to slide into the open position when firing repeatedly. I may be able to just use some tape to wrap on the end of the take down pin so it won't slide out so easily.
gnilreib Shouldn't you be able to measure your current pin and then print a cylinder the size you want with another cylinder as that cylinder's head?
ACWick Yes, I should be able to do that but I've no experience or knowledge of CAD/design software- the cylinder would be easy, I think, but the detent groove and head would require a bit of study. Any suggestion for an entry level design app?
