I had read somewhere that the geometry in a ar-10 doesn't allow to use the SS. I tried to install one in a CMMG Mutant. It everything but worked. When you retracted the bolt all the way to the rear it would bind up and get stuck. Any thought on what might need to be massaged into clearance. Thanks for your time.

Not sure about the Mutant. But on the LR-308 the issue is a lack of clearance between the hammer cam surface on the carrier and the trip point. Grey Market came up with a clever fix, adding a spring to the back of the lever that allows it to be pushed out of the way of the hammer cam surface, but spring back to be contacted by the trip point.
